US Army Female Body Armor
While interning at the US Army Soldier Center with Development Command (DEVCOM) Applied Ergonomics Team in Natick, MA, I primarily conducted research regarding female body armor. My work included market research, collaboration with internal and outside scholars (including coordinating guest presentations), and reviews of literature. I conducted a literature review of currently available sources (both publicly and government-only) of female body armor, from which a team presentation and internal technical report were developed. This research will be utilized to plan future female body armor research and development efforts.
Due to classification regulations at the US Army, the majority of this work is currently unable to be publicly shared. It is expected that this research will yield publicly available manuscripts as well as conference presentations and proceedings.

- aided in anthropometric and human factors data collection at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC,
- participated in US Army and Navy footwear fit training sessions,
- engaged with Clothing Design team,
- and participated in biomechanics training sessions.
